Behavior Intervention Resources, LLC is dedicated to using principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and empirically based treatment methods to provide services to children aged 2-21 in Southwest Louisiana. We are compassionate, competent therapists providing assistance with social skills, motor skills, communication, developing and building early learner skills, activities of daily living, managing and decreasing maladaptive behavior, addressing feeding and toileting difficulties, imitation and instruction following skills, etc. Our end goal with each child is always to get them completely thriving and independent in their natural environment; we do this with the help of not only our awesome staff, but you (their caregivers). With behavior consultation, parent/caregiver/technician training, 1:1 teaching time, and clear communication, we will work to meet not only our goals, but yours for your loved ones as well. Our owner was born and raised in SWLA and takes pride in her business model that includes a family-like atmosphere and quality (not quantity) services.
Our services include (but are not limited to) providing ABA therapy to those with Autism, ADD/ADHD, Asperger's Syndrome, Pervasive Developmental Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder, Trisomy 21, as well as other behavioral or developmental challenges. These services are offered to children 2 years of age to 18 years. We pride ourselves in viewing the children that we see as unique individuals with individual treatment needs, rather than focusing on their diagnosis.
Although Medicaid will typically approve ABA therapy for children with most diagnoses (including Autism), private insurance will typically only pay for therapy for an Autism diagnosis. We currently accept Medicaid (contact us directly to see if we are credentialed with your Medicaid MCO), Blue Cross Blue Shield, and private pay.
