An ABA Therapy Provider for SWLA
At Behavior Intervention Resources, we value the importance of targeting the most important skills for your child to reach their ultimate potential. Through descriptive and systematic behavioral assessment and a compassionate mindset, we are able to design ethical and effective behavior analytic interventions.
At the start of services, this outlines your child's strengths & areas of needed improvement in order to suggest goals. Follow-ups every 6 months identify whether or not the program is yielding adequate improvements and successes.
Used primarily to identify trigger(s) and cause(s) behind specific challenging behaviors. A behavior intervention plan will then be developed based on the results on how to best address the challenging behaviors.
Discrete trials focusing on skill acquisition of milestones your child may have missed or need more development in. These skills that are in acquisition may include assistance increasing communication, social skills, academic skills, decrease maladaptive behavior and increase appropriate behavior, etc. Implementation of programs and behavior intervention plans are delivered in a 1:1 environment.
School Readiness involves assisting your young loved one to prepare for the routines and changes that being in school will entail from the small group setting of our clinic. School aide involves being present with your child in their school to increase independent behaviors and success in these situations (your child's school must agree; some conditions beyond our control may apply that results in services not being able to be rendered in certain situations).
Meetings with caregivers to determine goals and current barriers, as well as educating caregivers on principles of Applied Behavior Analysis, effective treatments, and other concepts of ABA to help promote and reinforce success and independence at home and in the community.
Implemented to help your child find an appropriate means of communication to have their needs met.
